We are a passionate, diverse group of fun-loving individuals. Our home is also the home to the Mavericks, the Dallas Stars and the biggest concerts in Texas. Our Office has snacks, games, a closet full of wigs and hallways lined with bikes. But we work just as hard as we play. Meet our leaders. Just a few of the hardworking people who help make TM one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work three years in a row.

Byron Nelson
Chief Operating Officer

Nobody will be surprised to learn that a man named Byron Nelson loves golf. And the Dallas Mavericks. What may be surprising is that his shortstop skills are what got him noticed at his first job. But it was his ability to be logical and a natural problem solver that made him an irreplaceable asset throughout his career.

Now, with 35 years of experience under his belt, as our COO, Byron oversees the operations of the agency, ranging from finance to IT to Human Resources. He takes pride in creating an environment that allows the talent to flourish and
develop award-winning advertising year after year.

But Byron’s passion for maintaining an inspiring and creative culture extends way beyond the walls of TM. As a current board member of both the Dallas Regional Chamber and Downtown Dallas initiatives, he is happy to lend his support in helping to make our city a more innovative and beautiful place to work and live.

Scott Savarese
Chief Financial Officer

Scott solves problems. The numbers kind, but also the everyday agency kind. Having worked in the industry for more than 17 years, he truly believes that when we invest in the right level of agency resources, tools and systems to effectively support every client relationship, we all succeed.

In addition to overseeing the finance team, Scott has experience working with clients to develop billing and reporting guidelines specific to digital media and production. This discipline has become a significant and vital area for clients. His prior experience as a Senior Operations Analyst allows him to see things from both the agency and client side.

As a former child model, Scott will tell you he got the partying out of his system before kindergarten so he could focus on his studies. In fact, agency happy hours don’t seem to distract him from his work. What does get him up from his desk is the chance to golf, see the Texas Rangers, restaurant hop, get lost in a good book or donate his time to causes he believes in.

Scott, along with his family, manages an endowment at post-graduate alma mater SMU, which helps support students in need of financial aid. This reinforces his belief that academic experience helps to provide a solid foundation for young students looking to take those first steps in pursuing professional goals.
